Most common causes when a notebook won't turn on

It doesn't turn on at all.

No lights, no fan, no image. It could be a short circuit on the motherboard, a problem with the charging circuit, or moisture damage.

It turns on but there's no image.

The computer powers on, but the screen remains black. This could be due to a problem with the GPU, BIOS, memory, or a fault in the video circuitry.

It turns on and off after a few seconds

Typical of overcurrent protection, MOSFET failures or thermal sensor failures.

Just turn on the charger light

It indicates that power is not reaching the motherboard or that there is a shorted component.

Reballing / reflow / BIOS: subject to availability
